Does NBC even think before it acts? They booted Ann Coulter from the "Today" Show because they disapproved of her book analyzing the bias towards conservatives in the media. They pretty much made her point for her. Now they recant and have rescheduled for tomorrow, but they've already embarrassed themselves.
In addition, the whole senate mess is almost comical to watch unfold. A sitting governor has rightfully appointed a senator to fill an empty seat and now the members of his own party will not seat him. Yet there are is no media crying racism, rather the media is downplaying the issue in hopes to not dampen the Obama inauguration. The media quickly and quietly swept the Richardson scandal under the rug. The liberals in congress are refusing to seat a man with more experience than Obama to the senate merely because it is not the pick Harry Reid wants. Sure he is tainted with the Blago scandal, but that doesn't change the fact he was legally and properly appointed by the governor and it is not the Senate majority leader's job to pick replacements for open senate seats. The media is officially a lapdog for this incoming administration and it is quite disturbing. It is as if the main stream media will be the new state media, quick to criticize anyone critical of the administration and never criticizing the sitting president for fear they will lose access to him. This was illustrated when Obama kick media who was critical of him off his jet during the campaign.
