And Florida is going to the National Championship

Just finished watching the the SEC Championship a few hours ago. I was rooting for 'Bama all the way. I consider them my secondary team to root for when the Gamecocks aren't doing so well (so that is often). It was a good game overall. If only 'Bama would have been able to convert at least one of those field goals into a touchdown, it would have kept the momentum going. Ah well, the Gamecock foot ball fan in me harkens back to our motto: "there's always next year." Florida is a very talented football team and Tim Tebow is one hell of a quarterback. Tebow is the kind of person you want to hate but can't because what a great person he is off the field. Florida definitely deserves to go to the National Championship. I'll be watching, ofcourse.

Meanwhile in Gamecock land, it looks like we are going to the Outback Bowl although we have not officially accepted yet. If we go I pray we prepare for it because definitely did not for Clemson.

I try not to think negatively about my team, but year after year, psychologically and emtionally its hard to stay a loyal Gamecock fan. My lawyer friends and I joke that we should initiate a class action suit against USC for intentional infliction of emotional distress of years of heart ache after watching USC football year after year.
